Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (TDCAC) is a Toyota global drawing contest for children with purpose to educate them about the environment.
TDCAC invites children around the world to share ideas related with future mobility by drawing their dream cars. Every bright ideas start with a dream, and Toyota hopes this activity could encourage and nurture children's creativity as successor of future generation.
The contest divided to 2 stage: National Contest and World Contest. For National Contest, the contest has been held on each participant's country on last February 2015 (including Indonesia), which consist of 3 age categories: under 7 years old, 8-11 years old, and 12-15 years old, with 1st prize: IDR 10 millions, 2nd prize IDR 5 millions, 3rd prize IDR 3 millions, and IDR 1 millions for 5 runner-ups. Moreover, 3 best contestants from each category were automatically enrolled in World Contest that held in Japan on May 2015. On such occasion, the juries would choose the winner based on particular levelling as follow: Gold (1 winner per category), Silver (2 winners per category), and Bronze (3 winners per category).
After selection process of 2,626 entries, 3 best entries on each category were already selected as winners, while 5 other entries were selected as runner ups. All TDCAC winners will compete with the winners of National Contest on all around the world to have an opportunity for 18 selected winners to receive the awards in Japan on September 2015.
