Toyota to Halt Production Activities

Jakarta – PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) offers our sympathy to any who have been affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus (now called COVID-19 by the World Health  Organization) and our condolences to those who lost their loved ones. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere respect to the healthcare professionals and government officials who are  working hard on the front lines.  
At Toyota, the safety and health of our employees and all of our stakeholders is paramount to us. With that in mind and under the guidance and support of the national and local authorities, we are  making decisions and taking necessary actions quickly based on the government's instructions. We'll keep carefully monitoring situation and base our decisions on the guidance we receive from the government. 
At this moment taking into consideration comprehensive factors such as the current and anticipated demands in Indonesia and export markets, parts supply situation, and Eid al-Fitr holiday we are suspending manufacturing operations starting from May 11 to June 1, 2020.  
“Furthermore, throughout the production suspension period, we will continue to strongly monitor the situation including any updates on supply and demand condition,” said TMMIN Administration,  Corporation, and External Affairs Director Bob Azam. 
As part of TMMIN's responsibility to respect customer needs, some activities among them are export and logistics, will continue under the supervision of strict social and health safety restrictions.
