Toyota's response to the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) infections

Toyota Indonesia offers our sympathy to any who have been affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus (now called COVID-19 by the World Health Organization) and our condolences to those who lost their loved ones. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere respect to the healthcare professionals and government officials who are working hard on the front lines. At Toyota, the safety and health of our employees and all of our stakeholders is paramount to us. With that in mind and under the guidance and support of the national and local authorities, we are making decisions and taking necessary actions quickly.

At this moment based on consideration to protect our employees and stakeholders from outbreak of COVID-19, we are reducing its risk through several measures such as starting “Work From Home” policy for members of Toyota Indonesia (starting from 18 March). While no Toyota Indonesia employee is currently indicated or suspected with COVID-19, with strict protocol, receiving Visitor activities is limited and Business Trip activities has also been cancelled except urgent matters. In the meantime, Activities in Toyota Indonesia production is scheduled to maintain its operation but self-declaration system for employees is applied (For those who feel unwell are recommended to stay at home). Toyota dealers’ activities is scheduled to maintain its operation based on customer needs. We will continue to strongly monitor the situation.
