Toyota Indonesia is represented by two subsidiary companies, PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) and PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM). As the subsidiaries of Toyota Motor Corporation, TMMIN acts as a manufacturer and exporter of Toyota products and vehicle components, while TAM acts as the brand holder agent, importer, and distributor of Toyota products.

TMMIN as a production and export base in the Asia Pacific region, not only want to make Indonesia as the market share, but also want to develop the potential of the nation especially in manufacturing, so that Indonesia could be able to produce its own cars and also be exporting its products to foreign countries. TMMIN realize that important key of its existence in Indonesia is to grow and evolve along with the society.
Toyota continuously trying to give a contribution for Indonesian automotive industry development, through the strengthening of international competitiveness. The efforts that Toyota Indonesia done is such as expanding the production base in Indonesia with the new investment that will eventually open up the new opportunity for thousands people in Indonesia, developing the ability of Indonesia’s human resources through ‘technology transfer’ and promoting the localization to strengthen the local business network while strengthen the automotive industry in Indonesia.
We believe that by implementing the Guiding Principles in our operation, TOYOTA will successfully fulfill its expected contribution towards sustainable development.
