Action Priority CSR

The CSR concept focuses on contributing to sustainable development in Indonesia by supporting environmental decarbonization, improving the quality of education and competitiveness of human resources, and driving economic contribution through income generation and mobility projects, all of which are aligned with the SDGs, ESG principles, and national development goals.

Environment

TMMIN shows a strong commitment to environmental sustainability through various CSR activities that focus on nature conservation and environmental education. Through Mangrove & Forest, TMMIN strives to plant mangroves since 2013 in Cilebar and Cilamaya which have successfully absorbed CO2e emissions. The total emission absorption from mangrove planting in both areas reached 2,386.43 tons of CO2e. Through Sakura Park in Lawu (SAKRAL), which began in 2017, with the planting of 60 Himalayan Sakura (Prunus cerasoides) trees in 2018 in the Sakral Park and Hill covering ±1.2 hectares. Through Toyota Eco-Youth, TMMIN implements an environmental innovation competition program that invites high school and equivalent students throughout Indonesia to contribute to sustainable environmental solutions.

Education

TMMIN is committed to improving the quality of education and skills development in Indonesia through CSR programs that focus on education. Through Link & Match University, TMMIN conducts collaboration and partnership with 10 universities with the aim to bridge academic knowledge with industrial practice. TMMIN integrates lean manufacturing curriculum and introduces TPS (Toyota Production System) principles. TMMIN also provides industrial visit facilities to Karawang factories. Through SMK Vocational Education Development, TMMIN develops collaboration between SMK and industry through vocational education that involves basic skills training and hands-on practice. In addition, TMMIN also develops a representative SMK as a vocational education center for automotive industry electrification, with the aim of aligning graduate competencies with industry needs.

Community Development

TMMIN is committed to empowering communities through Community Development programs that focus on economic empowerment, education, and health. Through these programs, TMMIN seeks to create a sustainable positive impact on local communities by improving the economic welfare, health, and education of surrounding communities. Through IGA/ Economic Empowerment (MSME), TMMIN implements MSME economic empowerment programs that focus on the development of community businesses that demonstrate commitment in supporting the local economy. TMMIN conducts the development of MSME activities in Sunter and Karawang Area. Social Contribution, Education, and Health Empowerment are also carried out in order to provide tangible benefits to the community. The steps taken include increasing cooperation and synergy with the community, so that the community can feel the company's attention to the surrounding environment.
