Kijang 1st Generation

(1977 - 1981)

The first generation of the Toyota Kijang was launched in 1977,
with the concept of a basic, box-shaped pick-up car. The first generation
of the Kijang is often dubbed the "Kijang Buaya" because of the hood design
that allowed it to be opened from the side. This model also had a localization
rate of parts and components reaching 19%.

Diluncurkan pada tahun 2022, untuk pertama kalinya All New Kijang Innova Zenix menghadirkan pilihan kendaraan elektrifikasi Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) dengan baterai yang dirakit lokal. Kijang Innova Zenix HEV juga menorehkan sejarah sebagai ekspor model elektrifikasi pertama Toyota Indonesia yang akan menjangkau pelanggan di 13 negara di kawasan Asia, Timur Tengah, dan Amerika Latin.
