PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) was established on April 12, 1971 along with Toyota’s presence in Indonesia through the establishment of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) as an importer and distributor of Toyota vehicles. The restructuring in 2003 made TMMIN a manufacturing company and TAM a distributor of Toyota vehicles.

Toyota is represented by two companies in Indonesia, namely PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) and PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM). Both companies have their own business focus. Meanwhile, TAM focuses on being a distributor of Toyota vehicles and after-sales services.

TMMIN factory tours are intended for high school students/equivalent and above, so children younger than this cannot participate in the factory tour.

For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to take pictures inside the factory area. Visitors can ask for photos of the production process if needed.

Yes, visitors can choose the factory location they want to visit when making a factory tour reservation.
